Movement in Action, led by former professional ballet dancer Mia Munroe, offers specialized training in GYROTONIC and GYROKINESIS methods. Mia Munroe, a teacher trainer in these methods, utilizes her extensive experience to help individuals with back pain, chronic lifestyle injuries and pelvic floor dysfunction in both men and women.

Movement in Action is seeking new local Gyrokinesis and/or Gyrotonic instructors. The Gyrokinesis group class teacher training requires no equipment and includes a 6-day pretraining for $1,050 on September 29, 30, 2024, and October 1, 5, 6, 7, 2024, followed by a 9-day Foundation course for $1,575 from October 19 to 29, 2024, (two days off). After completing this training, individuals can teach their own classes and substitute current local classes. The certification process includes a 3-day Apprenticeship for $525 in spring 2025, and a 2 or 3-day Final Certification for $525 at a certifying studio in the U.S. or worldwide. An additional studio fee is required to hold a spot in the course.
