New Hope
Center, a nonprofit, peer-support bereavement organization based in Northville,
is committed to bringing hope, healing and new beginnings to individuals coping
with loss. By offering age- and loss-specific support programs, New Hope
creates safe spaces where individuals can connect with others that have
experienced similar losses, fostering understanding and compassion.
With a mission to transform despair into
hope, heartbreak into healing and grief into life-changing new beginnings, the
center provides all programs and services free of charge, thanks to the
generosity of donors. New Hope offers specialized grief support groups tailored
to different types of loss, ensuring that every participant feels seen and
supported on their healing journey.
New Hope also invites community members
to join its efforts through opportunities for volunteers which play a vital
role in providing compassionate care, administrative assistance, event
planning, fundraising and outreach. Through these contributions, participants
help sustain the impactful programs that change lives.
