Detroit Waldorf School Winter Faire

Waldorf School will host their annual Winter Faire from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.,
December 7, in Indian Village, to celebrate the holiday season with activities,
food and educational experiences. As the only Waldorf school in metro Detroit,
the seasonal event will showcase all aspects of a Waldorf education through
simple and pure fun. “This will be an enchanting place for the entire family to
enjoy,” says Winter Faire organizer Diana Miller. “It will be a magical time
for everyone.”
Highlights
include student musical performances, strolling carolers, puppet shows and
storytelling; jump-rope making and silk
dyeing for scarves, drapes or capes; magical experiences in the Crystal Cave
and Cookie Forest; story collaging workshops for adults; a vendor marketplace
with handcrafted items such as pottery, jewelry, leather goods, painted art,
woven goods, toys and prints; a student bake sale and artwork available; a
campfire with hot beverages; and food trucks from Pink Flamingo and Amicci’s
Pizza.
Admission
